Creative Ministries Camp...the aftermath

All I can say is...it was a blessing!

Had great company...challenging spiritual messages, and the kids learned about using Drama for the glory and honor of God. Very hot, got stung by three bees, and of course camp food....well, its interesting.

How are you all doing?

we are preparing for the Power Lab....VBS!!! Chris and joanne are doing a great job organizing it and we are planning to have a great time with it!

Love,

Kory

And the results are....

Andy's cyst came back benign! Negative!! Praise God...

So Andy is doing well, and mom and dad are doing ever better now that Andys results are back!

Fourth of July came and went by...nice day of cooking out...and enjoying some friends. That morning we (Abbie and a teen from church) went to all the families of the Temple corps (which were about 13) and took frosted home made cupcakes. It was a surprise..and they were soo shocked! One familys mom actually cried!

We needed to show the families that we are really trying to unite with them. It has been a bit of a hard transition for the congregation to accept us for our age...and our modern style....but they have endured rough stuff in the past at Long Beach and show resilience.

Well, I have creative ministries camp this week and I am going to be teaching drama....how appropriate! Pray for the Southern California Camp!

Much Grace to you all!

Adventures in Potty Land

Well,

at 2 years and 3 months Andy is mastering the use of her Potty chair. Yes it sings and does a royal jingle, but she actually told us she wanted to go potty and went. I a day. Geez, she is growing up so fast!! What happened? I didn't think she would do the potty thing until closer to 3, but I guess every kid is different.

We STILL haven't decided when we are going to do furlough....gas is ridiculous, and between my tours at camp teaching and Little Luis going to camp, and VBS at the end of July, dates are scarce.

Well, I gotta go! \

Love,

Kory

At home with Andy

So...

Thanks for the prayers....Andy had a cyst removed from her eyebrow and now we await the results of the test. But she is coming out of the grogginess of anestesia. So we ar eat home...and she has arm restraints so she wont touch her eye. But they dont let her fold her arms...she looks like she has two casts on her arms....for two days!!

Well..I have to go back to her....God bless...
